TBS Leather Equipment Over Belt

The new TBS Leather Equipment Over Belt is a wonderfully crafted piece of leatherwork. It is superb quality and is just a real touch of class. 

For this project we chose to team up with a small Ukrainian producer making small batch, high quality leather goods and this belt is our first project with them an I am super happy with the result.

An equipment belt is an excellent piece of kit and highly useful for carrying the essentials close to hand like your Knife, Axe and Folding Saw. This belt has a double pin buckle for added stability and strength, it also has 2 leather linear loops at each hip which is perfect for attaching a dangler type sheath through. This helps prevent the sheath moving and also holds on to your kit when you take the belt off.

I really like these belts, they are, again, made from high quality veg tanned full grain leather and simply feel right. They are 50mm (2") in width, 3mm thick and come on a variety of sizes. There are plenty of size holes which gives you more flexibility when the weather turns as you can add more layers of clothing.

For sizing see below but it is always best to measure yourself for a belt over a piece of clothing otherwise you can end up ordering something too small. It's also worth remembering that you can always add more holes to a leather belt that is a little too big. This is an overbelt so is normally worn a little higher up than a trouser belt.

These sizes are the first to the last of the holes in the belt.

• Medium - 84cm - 99cm
• Large - 90cm - 108cm
• XL - 104cm - 120cm
• 2XL - 101cm-114cm (122cm)
• 3XL - 123cm-136cm (143cm)
• 4XL - 130cm-142cm (150cm)

NB. Remember it is leather and you can always, very simply, add more holes to make a larger belt smaller and give it more flexibility. With an over belt it is always best to go a little larger than you think you need as you will be going over layers of clothing.
