It is made from super strong 304 gauge Stainless Steel and has a well fitting lid that not only reduces boil time it stops anything falling in. It also has regular handles to be used as a mug/canteen cup and has a removable bail handle which is not only great for collecting water it is ideal for hanging over an open fire.
There is also highly useful volume graduations up the inside of the cup which are stamped into the steel rather than etched in. Stamping is a far better process to do this as, over time, etched variants will wear off rendering them useless.
The TBS Billy Can Cup is just cut above other products on the market as it has better and more inclusive features. Other products may be a little cheaper but that is simply because they are not made to the same specifications and have as many features.
The TBS Outdoor Phoenix Stove has taken a while to get right and we are very happy with the results. We haven't over complicated things and have just developed a product that has as few working parts as possible and made it out of great quality materials.
There is obviously no need to carry fuel with our stove as you can all sorts of solid fuels that sit nicely in their own combustion chamber that is easy to fill when you have a pot or canteen on top as it has a large feed hole.
The Phoenix also has the added bonus of being a "Wood Gas" stove; this effect is caused as, when you burn wood, it gives of a combination of gases, including hydrogen and methane, that are flammable. Not all of these gases are burnt in the initial combustion and would normally just escape into the air but if you have a stove that has the correct airflow and a set of secondary holes further up the combustion chamber this gas re-enters the area and catches to not only burn cleaner it makes the fuel you are using that bit more efficient.
Our Stainless Steel Bottle is a superb piece of kit that won't break the bank. It also features a wide mouth for easier filling or even adding ice cubes. The lid features a rubberised area which gives great grip for easier opening when your hands are wet or cold. It is also fully removable should you wish to boil water in the single wall variant.

Good kit
I chose the single wall bottle version.
All items are made of great quality and thick steel and the build quality on everything included in the kit is good all round.
My only complaints are the spoon end of the spork is a bit shallow/not big or deep enough.
The fold out cup handles could be a bit better, i think a different shape or larger size would make them a bit comfier, especially when the mug is full. Good quality construction though. The cups my favourite bit of the kit.
The stove is made of quite thin steel and while it is plenty strong enough, i imagine you could easily squash it or something if ya not careful. The stove is easy to set up and very efficient though, you can boil water quickly with very little fuel but it doesnt do well in a breeze.
Comes with two small mesh bags for the stove and the cup which are handy for seperating parts of the kit. For example if youd like to leave the stove at home.
The big canvas bag that everything nests into nicely is very nice and good quality, lovely bag.
Overall I love the kit, i'm very happy, the bottle and nesting cup with the lid are awesome and ive really fell in love with them. They are really well made and of super quality in my opinion. With everything else chucked in on top of that, for value for money you can't go wrong really.
Compact, efficient, versatile, should last a lifetime. Good investment to me.

Great little nesting cook kit
A great little nesting cook kit, fairly lightweight and compact for a complete kit. The only draw back I find is the plastic that attaches the lid to the water bottle which isn't great as it prevents the mug nesting properly to the top of the water bottle. I think it would be better to have cordage as it would be more flexible to allow the mug to nest properly on top. I'm going to remove this and attach a piece of bank line to it. Otherwise I can't fault the quality. TBS are great to buy from always fast secure delivery 👍
