The TBS Stoat Keychain Multi tool is a fantastic little tool that is ferro rod striker, a bottle opener and a screwdriver all in one little tool.
It is made from robust 4mm thick Stainless Steel and works fantastically well as a firesteel striker as it has a dedicated cut out for striking firesteels up to 12.5mm in thickness (Fatboy). To use we have found it is best to place the striker at 90o to the ferro rod and draw firmly along the length of the rod. The urge is to always use it at 45o but you will get a much better result at 90o to the rod
It is always a bonus to have a bottle opener as, for me, there is nothing nicer at the end of the day than a cool beer around the camp fire....

Surprising!
A very nice addition to my Grizzly's Ferro Rod. The Stoat is very well made, has 90° edges and makes an excellent striker and it's much nicer than the standard striker completing the set. It fits in the sheath's sharpening stone pocket. Of course it'll open a "cold one" too!
