We like this one. It's made by one of the premier American manufacturers, and they make some quality gear. I have 2 Tops Knives and they are awesome.

This kit features lots of really useful gear, not least - the TOPS Firestarter which has three rods (1 Ferrocium-Super Flint Starter and 2-Magnesium Hot Rods) all pressed into aircraft aluminum barrel.

It also includes a P-38 can opener (you'll always be able to open a tin), a TOPS survival whistle, a razor blade, a snap link karabiner, a fresnel lense, heavy duty rubber band, sail needle, safety pins, fishing line, 2 hooks, button compass, orange marking tape, acrylic signal mirror, metal hinged box and an id card. 

Ultimately this is a high quality survival kit that has been thoughtfully put together by a company that produces some of the best knives and kit in the World. This kit is an absolute bargain as when you combine up the total cost of putting it together it would cost you much more.
