We really like this as it comes filled with UCO's Stormproof Matches that are longer than any others on the market giving you more vital time for firelighting and make them safer to use as it helps to prevent you burning your fingertips!
The UCO Stormproof Match Kit is a waterproof container that includes 25 matches and 3 strikers.
The container features an integrated striker on the outside to provide an easy location for lighting matches and can hold up to 40 matches. The ribbed container is easy to grip with cold hands.
Unlike other “waterproof” or “windproof” matches, UCO Stormproof Matches are easy to light, and will stay lit for up to 15 seconds, even after being submerged in water!
Being able to reliably make a fire is vital for cooking, generating warmth, and in survival situations, making signal fires. UCO Stormproof Matches are perfect for camping, emergency kits, and should be part of every 10 Essentials check list.

Great Match Safe & Useful Container.
This is the second of these match safes that I have purchased from Pathfinder, although I have bough other types from other suppliers, which have not been as good. They are well made & very robust, they will take a lot of bashing and are nice & waterproof, the only bad point is the striker being on the outside, although it is well placed for easy striking, it is also exposed to the weather or drops into water, the strikers should be kept inside to protect them. The empty containers can be refilled, but they can also be used for other things, like keeping your salt & pepper dry or collect a few of them for putting small amounts of coffee, sweeteners, creamer or even spices in for short trips. I keep at least one of these in each pack I have & I have packs for every type of trip I make, an excellent product & worth the money.
