Victorinox Venture Fixed Blade Knife - Olive

It was developed by outdoors experts to be a reliable piece of specialist kit that makes light work of any challenge. The Venture features a drop point blade for precise carving, sharp 90° spine for easy fire-making and a protective blade sheath that doubles as a blowtube for quick fire ignition.

THE BLADE: A CUT ABOVE

• Constructed in 14C28N stainless steel with an HRC score of 59. This denotes excellent edge retention and the full tang construction offers maximum stability
• Drop point blade provides a fine tip for precise carving tasks. Despite its narrow shape the tip delivers reliable leverage when chopping tougher wood
• Sharp 90° spine enables easy fire making when used alongside the fire steel and scrape tinder.
• Front jimping – a series of notches expertly integrated into the spine of a knife blade –allows maximum control on precision cuts
• Proven flat grind geometry excels in many ways: – Outstanding performance for carving and whittling (repeatedly cutting small slices from wood). – Reliable for camping/hiking/outdoors tasks. – Flat grind is easy to sharpen when on the go. – Excellent slicer that performs well in the outdoor kitchen

THE HANDLE: EXPERTLY CRAFTED

• Ergonomic shape minimises effort and maximises efficiency.
• Unique Powerzone design – profiled lines on the zones where the strongest pressure is exerted – provide a comfortable, safe, all-weather resistant grip
• Constructed in durable polymer (TPE)
• Specially designed thumb rest provides comfort and precise control. Excellent for specialised carving techniques such as sternum pull cutting, pinch-grips or power cuts.

THE PROTRUDING TANG: MULTIFUNCTIONAL

• Features a sharpened 90° angled edge for easy scraping of wood and fatwood, smashing of nuts and seeds, hammering and crushing
• Fully integrated hex hole can accommodate the flat drill included in the Venture Pro Kit
• Hex hole can also be used as a lanyard hole to attach a strap that can be used to fasten and secure items when chopping wood for maximum safety.

THE SHEATH: PRO LEVEL PROTECTION

• Fully protects the blade and safely stores the knife when not in use
• Symmetrically shaped design offers dexterous blade handling. The blade can be inserted into the sheath facing any direction so works equally as well for left or right-handed users
• Integrated drainage holes ensure the knife blade can fully dry if stored while still damp
• Mounted sheath on the blade doubles up as an extension for drilling
• Protective sheath can also be used as a blow tube for easy fire making
