Viper Twin Slip Joint EDC Knife - Brown Micarta
I have struggled for ages to find a traditional looking EDC that will rival anything that TBS Knives produce but now I have, the only minor issue is that is rather more expensive. Now, it is the struggle to produce knives in Europe with quality materials as it is an expensive business and to get something of seriously high quality you need to pay for it. I will say though that it is definitely worth it.....
The Viper Twin is a real doozy and I have had one on test for quite some time and I do love it. It features a 2.9" (73mm) Blade that is made of the phenomenally good Bohler M390 Microclean Stainless Steel. Now, this steel isn't cheap as it has extremely high wear resistance and a wickedly sharp edge.
BÖHLER M390 MICROCLEAN is a martensitic chromium steel produced with powder metallurgy. Due to its alloying concept this steel offers extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance – the perfect combination for a great EDC.
The Twin is 3.9" (9cm) closed and features micarta handles in a variety of colours. It has great looking, and super hard wearing titanium bolsters which feature a lanyard hole. It is a non locking slip joint mechanism that is very positive and will cut all day long and not need a sharpen .
It also comes with a small slip pouch which is ideal for your pocket as it not only protects the knife it protects you pocket lining.
